Road Trip to the Abandoned

These locations have been abandoned, allowing nature to reclaim them, while preservation societies work diligently to maintain the history of these areas for future generations. Where many see only dilapidated boards, rust, or rubble, I see stories waiting to be uncovered. Although many structures in this historically rich state have been restored and revitalized, a significant number remain untouched. With this series, I want to take you on a journey into the past and share some of the stories that have been left behind. My goal for this series is twofold: to raise awareness about the importance of preservation and to create visually appealing images. The images in this collection are designed to resonate with the audience on various levels. I chose the metaphor of a road trip because it’s an experience that many people share, evoking common themes and ideas encountered along the way.
